Summary:The notebook contains poems by Mary Tighe - among them 'A faithful Friend the Medicine of Life'; 'Loves Album, To Mrs. Blachford' (most probably Tighe's mother Theodosia Blacford), and 'Bryan Byrne, Dedicated to the Lady Eleanor Butler', poems by her brother-in-law William Tighe including his 'To Mrs H. Tighe on her beautiful Poem of Psyche', his 'Lines in praise of Coffee' and his poetic contributions to the 'Hamwood Album', a poem titled 'Written in the Hamwood Album on reading Psyche' for which the authorship is unclear, and further transcriptions of poems by amongst others Sir Walter Scott, Anna Seward, Lady Harriet Cunliffe, Hannah More, Hester Piozzi, Robert Southey and Robert Lowth, Bishop of London.
