Description: Contains: An engagement diary of Constance Dawson-Damer (later Leslie) kept during 1854, her debutante year; a notebook of her recollections (ca. 1895-1900) of the changes in social life which she witnessed in the years of Queen Victoria's reign; and a small journal in which she begins, "For the amusement of myself really, the [sic] I call it for the pleasure of the children, I begin a rough account of thoughts, revolutions and facts -", dated 1866.
