Description: Contains the correspondence of Mary Georgiana Emma Dawson-Damer (née Seymour) better known as "Minnie" ("Minney"), the wife of George Dawson-Damer and the mother of Constance Leslie. Includes letters from her husband, her son Lionel Seymour, her adoptive mother Maria Anne Fitzherbert, Lady Louisa Stuart, and William Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire. Letters concern politics, family, travel and social matters. Also contains a letter from Minnie to King George IV and documents pertaining to Minnie's fortune.
