Summary:	World War I poster in Portuguese, title roughly translates into English as 'Palestine liberated; the Holy Land freed from the enslavement of the Turks'. Featuring a portrait of Field Marshal Edmund Allenby (1861-1936) and several other black and white images [of Haifa, Damascus, Nazareth, including an image of the house said to be the home of St. Joseph in Nazareth] relating to the British Army's campaigns in Turkey and Palastine during World War One. Allenby led the EEF (Egyptian Expeditionary Force) during the Sinai and Palestine Campaign (1915-1918) against the Ottoman Empire.
