The seat was won by Joseph McGuinness [one of the first seats won by Sinn Féin]. Illustration shows two women holding flags with a crowd of men behind them - the woman on the left is older and carries a club; the words on her flag read 'Disfranchisement made in Hungary.' The woman on the right is young, attractive and the words on her flag read 'Home Rule made in Ireland'.
