He says that the newspaper 'The Irish Nation and Peasant' "is fighting a desperate battle for liberty to think and the right to say what you think in Ireland. Its fate will be sealed within the next 2 months". He writes about the need for more subscriptions to the paper and that the advertisements "pay all papers ... Bombard the advertising firms who already advertise in the "Irish Nation" with requests and in a very short space we'll find the prices for advertisement and the number of them improving".
