Includes: a statement of account for the School Fund (to provide education for the Monaghan Militia's children), dated February 1816; a letter fom Rev. John Hudson, Vicar of Donagh, to James McCullough regarding the appointment of a school master, in which he advises against appointing a woman, dated 1881; the daily roll of Monaghan Collegiate School between February 1895 and December 1899 (some missing); and correspondence between B.M. Skelton (for the Sir John Leslie Estates), the Board of Education and the Diocesan Board regarding the transfer of schools on Sir John Leslie's Estates to the Clogher Diocesan Board of Education.
