Main Creator: Moore, Ulick, 1896-1918
Contributors: Moore, Maurice George, 1854-1939
Summary:Writes "I play football here two or three times a week so am beginning to feel moderately fit again. You can't believe how slack trench life makes one ... I'll soon have had three years of the army ... Do write and tell me what happened as regards your joining the Americans. I expect they will make a big difference next year. There are some of them in the line already more or less attached to other regiments though I was rather glad to see that the Bosch came over & took a few of them back with him. It will take some of the old [Buck?] out of them after which they are alright ... I'm afraid my letters are all hopelessly uninteresting but things are really extraordinarily monotonous out here".
