Summary: | Accompanied by a list - held at NLI call number EPH D221 - showing the number of Cumainn affliated with each Comhairle Ceanntair [constituency] for the years 1920-1921 and the monies received from each Comhairle Ceanntair. This report details the work of the government between 1919 and 1921, the main concern was stablising the country and consolidating the organisation after the government was supressed by the British government. It highlights the sucess of the Sinn Féin Party in winning a number of seats in the June 1920 general election, the introduction of courts, along with various activities including the Belfast Trade Boycott, the Munition Workers Strike and the collection of funds for the I.R.A. He also calls for each Comhairle Ceanntair to appoint a Secretary. |
