Summary: | Embroidered silk postcard [these were known as World War One Silks or stitching cards] with 'A.S.C.' (Army Service Crops) coat of arms, Union Jack flag and flowers on cloth attached to card on recto; verso has handwritten note referring to badge and work involved with Army Service Corps. Handwritten in blue ink message: 'Dearest Curly, this is the Badge belonging to the A.S.C. not to[o] bad the work is nice Curly.' Postcard sent by Private Louis Mc Hugh, Army Service Corps, 2nd Division Supply Column British Expeditionary Force, France to his wife Catherine, known as 'Curley'].
