Main body of text reads: "To the electors of Queenstown: the Queenstown branch of the above party has decided to send forward a candidate for the forthcoming municipal election in this town". "...Misery! Disease! Unemployment! Pauperism! Death! That is the cost of the slums. Therefore, to the working class electors and all true friends of Labour we commend the following immediate policy, to be pursued by our candidate...vote for our candidate Jack Dowling, no. 3 on [the] ballot paper"
