| Summary: | Leaflet sent to all households in October 1919 warning them against using the post for payment of the Dáil loan and attaching an application form for the purpose of collecting subscriptions to the loan. "...In the work of promoting the Dáil Èireann loan ... the Dáil Executive is being deprived of the stimulating and informing power of press, placard and platform". "...All are warned against the use of the post and against making payments to persons whom they do not know". The name of Richard Mulcahy, then Minister for Defence [October 1919] features at the bottom of the broadside. |
