Summary: | It is enacted that no person shall, after the 27th May, 1918, retain in his possesion or control silver coins of a value exceeding that of the value of the silver coinage reasonably required by him for the purposes of the personal expenditure of himself and his family and of his trade or business, if any. Printed at foot of poster: "Any person committing an offence against this Regulation, or inciting others to do so, is liable to arrest, prosecution, and if found guilty, to be fined and imprisioned with hard labour". |
