Summary: | Heaney's memoir was published in the 'New York Times Book Review' as 'The Singer of Tales: On Joseph Brodsky' on 3 March 1996. Attached in file are related copy faxes, covering the period 29 Mar - 1 Apr 1996, from Heaney to Bill McCormack of Goldsmith's College, London, Katherine Boulton and Charles McGrath, of the 'New York Times' and Paul Ingendaay of 'Frankfurter Allgemeine' regarding the publication of the article. Also attached is a newscutting with an obituary of Brodskey from the 'Irish Times'. |
