A collection of material relating to the death of the singer, Gerard Crofts,

The collection contains an album of newspaper cuttings on the death of Gerard Crofts in November 1934. It was compiled by his wife and includes obituaries and articles. There are letters of condolence to Mrs. Crofts from various people; some memorial cards, an acknowledgement card and small envelopes which have black borders. There are also nine mounted Irish Press photographs of Crofts' funeral. The correspondents include Maire Ní Shuibhne (sister of Terence MacSwiney), Ellie Harbison MacSwiney, Bob Davitt (son of Michael Davitt) and Ina Kennedy amongst others.
