Description: Included are worksheets containing drafts of 'The Biretta', 'A Basket of Chestnuts', 'Glanmore Revisited', 'The Pitchfork', 'The Ash Plant', 'A lightning plot', 'The Perimeter, 'The Maze' (collected as 'A Royal Prospect'), 'The Schoolbag', 'I.I.87', 'An August Night', 'The First Words' (collected in 'The Tree Clock', 1990), 'The Names of the Hare', 'A Retrospect' (fragment), 'Man and Boy' (fragment) and poems from the sequence collectively titled 'Squarings'.

Also included are drafts of untitled poems beginning 'To stir illicitly and feel each small/dangerous outburst', 'Imagine, high in a hedge, you are old hay', 'Seven years. The usual spellbound term' and 'Something very old stood watching swallows' and a draft contents page.
