Notes:The Field or plot, of the Silvermines old works, inclosed and reclaimed by John Delany contains, Three Roods and thirty six perches plantation measure - situate near Silvermines Parish of Kilmore & County of Tipperary bounded on the North and East by Thomas Lahy's Holding, on the South and west by the old Mine works. To Commence Rent the first of May 1822 at 11s 41d per acre yearly Rent Eleven shillings and one pence. Surveyed as shewn me by Mathew Ryan of Kilboy 12 August 1822. M. Ryan says the above was agreed upon with Lord D. as shewn to me in the ground, William McSorley.

A further inscription on the opposite side of the page records the name 'William French esquire'.
