| Summary: | Dear Mr Reece, I have had no reply from you since I wrote you last and as you will see from the enclosed letter of my Dutch publisher he insists on the matter. I think that you must by now have had ample time to ascertain from your Paris office where the lettrines are as it is essential for me to have them as quickly as possible. I think it would be advisable to ask Mr Verhulst to see Messrs Burns and Oates and Mr Morrison during his stay in London. It will I hope help matters along and save the incomprehensible delays in the return of the lettrines. As I am not staying long at this address you would oblige me by replying care of Mr Paul Léon at his usual address in Paris. sincerely yours, |
