Summary:Dear Elliot [sic], Here is a book No. 8 about me etc. I think it should appear in America not in England or France, but I suppose it will not interest you in which case please send the letter back by return. Colum cables me about a sixth American offer for the American Ulysses asking me to hold over to the 16-th inst. My daughter in law's brother Mr Robert Kastor in whom I have complete confidence sailed for New York this morning, I gave him full power of attorney to deal with Cerf, Morrow, Colum or anybody else on the basis of a draft agreement I got Pinker to send over by air-mail.
