Summary:He sends back the letter for R. Kastor to whom he will write, asks Léon to get his daughter-in-law's letters from Dr Fontaine, he wants to show them to his son and also other letters he has received, they have applied for a safe conduct to Paris which will take three or four days, they will leave as soon as they get it, encloses bill from Ivry, he would like to be sure that his lawyers have lodged £100 in the bank for him, he is going to see Gunn at the hotel, Joyce's daughter is still very noisy and disturbed, Léon need not now send his wife's coat or the other things.
