Summary:Thanks for letters, Miss Barney did not return the two proofs, Joyce opened the parcel at Miss Beach's in the presence of Sullivan and Budgen and it contained only Lucia's seven lettrines made at L'Haye-les-Roses, Joyce got the T proof and the cheque which was crossed, he wants open cheques sent to him in future, he has not heard from Monro Saw & Co or about Miss Beach and the 12th edition of Ulysses, have Eliot or Plinker replied about the Christmas book, he will show the lettrines and designs for stuff to his friend Brauchbar, the news from Feldkirch is fairly good, he and Mrs Joyce are both very tired owing to the heat, will Léon inform Goll, Gillet, Miss Beach and the Colums of the contents of Vogt's report on his eyes and send a copy of the following paragraph to Giorgio, Miss Weaver and Eliot.
