Richard Murphy". With a previous ownership inscription: "Colin Strang 1947". Strang was Patricia Avis's first husband, Richard Murphy her second. Colin and Patricia had moved to Belfast in 1951, when Colin took up a lectureship at Queen's. Larkin was the Sub-Librarian at the time and Patricia and he became close during 1952.
