Summary:A view of the traditional Market held here in Bolton Square each Saturday. The market has just opened this morning, hence the availability of space, but by 10 am every inch of the ground will be occupied by merchants. The market established by Hugh de Lacy in 1182 A.D. has been held here every Saturday without a break since then.
