Summary:This view of the Bridge of Athlone (1844 )is dominated by the church of Ss Peter and Paul which was deisigned by Ralph Byrne and opened in 1937. The church, which is also the garrison church for Custume Barracks, is build on a site provided by the Barrack authorities.
