Wellington Quay from the river Boyne

Originally the Haymarket it was re-named Wellington Quay after the Battle of Waterloo.The three storey building nearest the river was originally the "Fishmarket".The modern development "Dunnes Stores" replaced the early 19th century "Prestons Distillery" and a number of earlier houses.
