| Summary: | The Ritz Cinema , designed by Michael Scott, was completed in 1940. It was dsigned in the International style but the entire design was not adhered to. The facade has been extensivly altered over the years. The building is now awaiting demolition to make way for a new complex comprising of a public library and the catering school restaurant of the Athlone Regional Technial College. |
