Collection: Our Own Place Photographic Project >> Coastguard Cottages [graphic]
|Main Creator:||Newman, Thomas photographer|
These cottages situated next to the Schull Guard station on the East of the town were formerly the Coastguard Cottages. The ground at the back gave access to the harbour and an old "fish place" was used as a boat house. They were repaired and modernised in the 1920s and are now threatened with development.
