Aughavannagh Youth Hostel Co Wicklow
|Main Creator:||Doyle, Patrick M, photographer|
The evening falls and the tired hill walkers look forward to the comfort of a youth Hostel, such as this one in Aughavannagh. It was once the shooting lodge of C.S.Parnell and now forms one of the forty fourhostels throughout the country, run by An Oige Youth Hostels , which are open to people of all ages, are located in the most scenic parts of the country, on mountains or on the shores od Lakes and rivers. They vary in size and style from a converted Norman Castle in KIlkenny, to a large mansion on 700 acres in Killarney.
