Summary:The Mayo North Family History Research Centre and the Heritage Centre are community organizations set up to preserve and promote the rich local culture and to use the heritage for the benefit of the local community. The farm buildings of Enniscoe, having been lovingly restored to retain their original architectural structures provide an ideal setting for our collection of old farm machinery and household artefacts. Included in this Heritage Centre is our Research Centre. It is a designated centre of the Irish Genealogical Project and is part of a national network of centres under the ouspices of the Irish Family History Foundation.
