Summary: | Dr Jack Stanley Gibson, who is the present occupier of the Castle, was Kildare County Surgeon for twenty years between 1959 and 1979. One of the pioneers of Hypnotherepy, he carried out over 4,000 operations using only hypnosis as an anaesthetic. St David's Castle is a three story Tower in the heart of Naas built around 1400 and sometimes called King John's Castle. |
