Engraved tradecard of stationer and printer James Draper, No. 6, Crampton Court [Dublin] pasted onto inner boards; this tradecard includes illustrations of ledgers, bound volumes, quills and inkwells.

On 11th August 1774 Austin Cooper succeeded his uncle John Cooper of Cooperhill Co. Meath as Chief Clerk in the Dublin Treasury Office. He became Paymaster to the Pensioners on the Civil and Military Establishments and in 1796 succeeded the Right Hon. Henry Clements as Deputy Constable of Dublin Castle, a post he held until his death in 1830. He also held the position of Property Manager and Land Agent for the Nobility. In 1807 he purchased the town lands of Kinsealy in the Barony of Coolock, Co. Dublin from Lord Dorchester and the Hon. Lionel Damer. In 1823 he purchased the Tigh of Kinsealey; he also had a home at 4 Merrion Square, Dublin where he died.
