Summary:Dundrum Village has always been a very busy business centre. What must it have been like in days gone by when the Harcourt St to Bray railway line opened? To think of hopping on to the train in Dundrum at 8:30 in the morning and arriving in Harcourt St at 8:38 is "mind boggling. "From Bray to Harcourt Street was a very fast twenty four minutes, having stopped at at least six stations. The price, six old pennies return Dundrum to Harcourt St was pretty good value!
