Summary: | The trees on the opposite bank of the Six Mile Water were the subject of no little controversy during 1993. They form an area of semi-natural woodland, owned by Antrim Borough Council, which marches on to the army base. The Army plans to expand their Antrim base which will involve clearing the trees. The Council have agreed to sell the land and the trees, much to the disgust of some local conservationists. |
