Summary: | The Craigavan Shopping Centre, built in 1976, occupies high ground and can be identified from afar by its two rows of high masts from which the roof of a vast flat shopping area is suspended. The basement is almost half the area of the shops but is hidden from the shoppers by a separate approach road. The centre has parking space for over six hundred cars; bicycles and even dogs are catered for while their owners are shopping. A special entrance is provided for buses and the Centre is on scheduled routes between major towns. |
