Truly magnificent photography. The landscape looks terrific. Composition really is an artform.

There are lots of entries in local websites including "Finnvalley.ie and megalithic Ireland. It appears that the area has been modernised taking away much of its charm and the setting. Great old shot and nice to know the well still attracts pilgrims.

Lovely to see the well as it used to be. It is landscaped beyond recognition now. My people visit it on the 9th June, the feast of St Colmcille.

Hi I love this shot. I grew up in Co. Donegal and not too fR from there. I remember
Visiting there with my late father and being fascinated by all the crutches and
All the bits and pieces left behind.
Makes me wish I lived in Donegal now rather than a city.
