Summary:Elizabeth Farren, Countess of Derby, (1759-1829), 2nd wife of the 12th Earl, actress ; whole-length, standing, as a statue, directed towards left, facing and looking to front, right elbow on cabinet, holding up veil away from head with right hand, left hand holding other end of veil hair falling over right shoulder, on face of cabinet sculptured medallion with male and female figures, cupids below, curtain in front at top and sides ; rectangular frame.
