Summary: | Richard Molesworth, 3rd Viscount (1680-1758), aide-de-camp to the Duke of Marlborough during the War of the Spanish Succession; by September 1751 he was Commander-in-Chief of Ireland. Three-quarter length, to front, standing, face turned and looking to left, in hat and uniform, right hand pointing across breast, left hand against sword-hilt holding gloves, troops and battery in distance to right, rock behind to left; rectangular.
