Dorothy Jordan, née Bland, (1761-1816), in the character of Hypolita in Cibber's "She Would and She Would Not". Half-length to right, facing towards and looking to front, in high hat with feathers, coat with high collar, eye glass in right hand, hilt of sword at left side. Lettered lower centre: 'To her Grace the Dutchess of Devonshire this print is most humbly dedidcated by her Grace's most obedt. humble sert. [servant] John Jones'.
