Description: Reference is made to family and business matters, including the death of her sister Annie Daly, their son Daly's health and her running the Clarke's shop in Amiens Street, with the assistance of her brother Edward. She also refers to passing to her thoughts on Edward Daly's providing unsolicited advice on the upbringing of her child. Written during Tom Clarke's stay in Limerick and Crosshaven, where he travelled to recuperate after a serious illness.
