Description: Letters focus largely on their family and business matters, notably his renting a premises in Amiens Street, Dublin, the subsequent opening of his tobacconist shop there, its early sales, her stay with her family in Limerick, the progress of her pregnancy and their son Daly's health. Clarke also refers in passing to his attendance at Gaelic League and Sinn Fein events in Dublin and Bulmer Hobson's plans to start a new paper.
