Summary:Album of paste down albumen prints, largely featuring members of the landed gentry and aristocracy engaged in sporting activities. Contains group portraits of cricket teams and huntsmen in various locations in England, carte de visite portraits of assorted aristocractic families, including the Boyle, Spencer, Wingfield and Petty-Fitzmaurice families, and topographical views of Oxford and its colleges. Also includes group portraits taken at Vice Regal Lodge, Dublin, April 1869. Subjects identified and dated with manuscript annotations throughout.
