Notes: | Photographic print (embossed with "W.D. Hogan, / 56 Henry [St.], / Dublin." lower right) of four Black and Tans and Auxies, standing beside a vehicle that has a motorcycle mounted on it. In our catalogue, this photo was originally titled "Black and Tans with captured motorcycle, Clonmel Street, Dublin". Research by our Flickr Commons users established that this was Sackville (now O'Connell) Street; that the men were Auxiliaries, not Black and Tans; and the likelihood is that they were transporting the motorcycle for the Auxiliary on the left in goggles, rather than it being a 'captured' motorcycle.
