Dublin”. Page 1 features a timetable for Aer Lingus routes from Dublin, Shannon, Manchester, Amsterdam and Paris airports, with fares and rates. Includes information on special winter return fares, special student fares (for those between the ages of 12 and 22 years of age), pedal cycle, freight and pram rates. A special section on “ROME-HOLY YEAR 1950” “A special return fare of £54 from Dublin or Shannon to Rome, valid for 30 days will apply during the Holy Year. Passengers may travel via London, Paris or Amsterdam and may break their journey at any scheduled stopping place en route provided that the stopover is specified at the time of booking”. Page 2 is entitled “Passenger Information And Regulations” (information on baggage allowance; children; reservations; insurance; safety belts; the fact that the use of cameras while in flight is not permitted; smoking of cigarettes is allowed, but “The smoking of pipes and cigars is prohibited. No smoking is allowed during take-off or landing, or at any time when the “no smoking” notice is displayed in the aircraft or on the instructions of the aircraft Captain”. Page 6 gives information on freight services; page 7 shows Aer Lingus and BEA (British European Airways) routes; page 8 lists “Dublin's Leading Hotels”, with the addresses of Irish Tourist Association offices in Dublin, London and New York. At bottom (in bold font) “Travel the easy way No Fuss. No Queues Fly Aer Lingus”. The back page features an advertisement for the Viscount 700 (“The World First Propeller Turbine Airliner”).
