Summary: | Theatre poster (in black and white) designed by the artist and theatre producer Edward Gorey for his own 1977 Broadway production of "Dracula". This play was revival of the 1927 John L. Balderston script and the production featured a set and costume designs by Edward Gorey and starred Frank Langella as Dracula. The production won Tony Awards for "Best Revival" and "Best Costume Design", and was nominated for "Best Scenic Design" and "Best Leading Actor in a Play" for Langella, who went on to reprise the role in the 1979 film version of "Dracula". |
