| Summary: | 1932 Cumann na nGaedhael lithograph election poster [alluding to Sean O'Casey's 1923 play of the same title]. This poster features silhouette of man, wearing a trenchcoat and a hat holding a revolver in his hand. His figure looms over a small thatched cottage, shown with smoke coming out of the chimney, in a country landscape with a tree and mountains in the background. Over this the text reads "The Shadow of the Gunman" in red font [with an orange outline]. What is akin to a road sign is shown on lower right - it reads "Keep it from your home. / Vote for " , with the words "Cumannn na Gaedheal" written in blackfont [with green outline] at the bottom of the poster. |
