Lithographic card showing Jumbo the elephant on his hind legs, sporting a sunflower beside a diminutive Oscar Wilde, wearing a velvet suit of knickbocker trousers, jacket and waistcoat with a white lily in his lapel [the outfit he regularly wore during his lecture tour of America in 1882]. Text printed underneath the image: 'Jumbo Aesthetic' in lower right hand corner and 'Buck & Linder Isich., 65 Warren St., NY' in lower left hand corner. Text printed on verso: 'If the Lady who reads this card, when [...] want of Spool Cotton will buy Clark's O. N.T. Spool Cotton, she will get the best thread for hand & machine sewing. It is wound on white spools. The bottom label of every spool reads as below'. Below this is printed an image of the label which reads 'Clark's Trade Mark O.N.T. Spool Cotton'.
