Letter from Arthur Wellesley in reply to Rev. Disney. Wellesley justifies the change in army policy from issuing linen to cotton shirts, and maintains that it has not been injurious to Linen manufacture in Ireland. He goes on to decline responsibility to alleviate the distress in Ireland caused by the potato blight.
