Summary:Notice issued during the Civil War period, dated 1st August, 1922; signed off on by E. W. Monahan, Secretary (the name 'S.C. Little' formerly printed on the poster, has been pasted over). Offences listed include 'sending by the Railway without notice to the Company, Aquafortis, Oil of Vitriol, Gunpowder, Lucifer Matches, or any other Goods liaible to combustion, while carried, or of a dangerous nature'; 'wilfully setting fire to any station'; 'willfully obstructing any engine or carriage'; pulling down bridges and moving points or machinery. Penalities are listed at the right of the sheet. On 11 January 1923, Sligo Railway Station was mined and destroyed.
