Summary:	Irish literary magazine. Unpublished manuscripts with contributions from about six different hands, including original stories, poems, dialogues, photographs, ink drawings, some attractive watercolours, an etching, etc. On thick paper with the watermark of Browne & Nolan, Dublin. Albums or journals of this nature, circulating among a group of friends each of whom added a contribution, were not uncommon in late Victorian times. The contributors to these two albums are identified only by initials or pseudonyms. An attempt has been made to emulate the layout of such magazines as "The Strand" and the volumes contain tables of contents and editorials. Apparently the work of an Anglo-Irish coterie with military connections, and having a hint of the spirit of the Irish literary renaissance about it. The editor, who contributes some attractive watercolours, goes by the pseudonym of "Paddy go Aisy", and his "Ten Staff" style themselves by such names as "Mars Minor", "Poor Dobbin", "Korax", "Sister Anne" and "Finnikin Jinny". more
