| Notes: | In the aftermath of a raid by the IRA a frustrated soldier is captured telling his version of events. Doyle took this photograph through a letterbox on a gate. This raid signalled the re-emergence of IRA activity in Northern Ireland and a re-arming that led eventually to the 1956-1962 Border Campaign.
